The Taber Gymnastics Fitness Club competed in the Mountain Magic Competition in Okotoks, Alta., the weekend of May 4-7. There was a total of 800 athletes in the entire meet.
Gymnasts were scored based on age categories.
“We could not be more proud of the girls who competed this past weekend, some with injuries and still showing perseverance and dedication to still compete to the best of their abilities, all a part of being a competitive athlete,” said competitive coach April Holcek.
The club has two more competitions left this season with the next competition in Fernie, B.C. at the end of May.
“Let’s keep this momentum going girls!” said Holcek.
