The U13 Suns returned to the ice this past weekend for a single game. On Saturday, the team hit the road to take on the Foothills Bisons. Despite the layoff between games, the Suns were firing on all cylinders as they scored early and often. Foothills would score the lone goal in the first period, but after that, it was all Suns. Taber would score six in the second and add another two in the third en route to an 8-1 win.

Ashton Jensen was the starting goalie for Taber and the netminder made 43 saves on 44 shots.

This coming weekend sees a two-pack of games for the U13 Suns. On Saturday, the Suns welcome in the Okotoks Oilers for a 3 p.m. game and then on Sunday, they hit the road to take on the Airdrie Lightning for a 1:15 p.m. puck drop.
