The first weekend of November has passed and Taber Oil Kings saw the new month continue with tiering games in the Central Alberta Hockey League.
U11
It was a weekend filled with tons of goals for the U11 Oil Kings as they had two games on their schedule. On Saturday, the team welcomed in Duchess and the home team skated to a 12-4 win. Dalan Blasetti and Lincoln Braun each had a pair of goals and assists, Logan Rabusic had a goal and three assists, Wyatt Valgardson had two goals and an assist, Jaxson Tychsen, Cage Holcek, Mitchell Kimoto, Baron Stang, and Cooper Ross all had a goal and assist, Luke Engwer and Hudson Ilcyznski had a pair of assists each, and Ryden Baker, Samuel Hathaway, and Luca Nielsen all had a single assist. Dylan Volk was solid in net making 42 stops on 46 shots.
On Sunday, the Oil Kings travelled to Taber to take on the Cobras. This time, the opposing team was able to hit double digits as the Oil Kings fell 15-4. Hathaway, Rabusic, Engwer, and Ilcyznski were the Oil King goal scorers while Blasetti, Kimoto, Valgardson, and Holcek all had an assist. Volk was back in the crease and the netminder made 33 saves on 48 shots.
