Taber Minor Hockey sees smaller slate of games over past weekend

U11

While Tier 4 Taber teams were off, the Tier 2 squad hit the ice this past Sunday when they travelled to Medicine Hat.

They struggled in their only game of the weekend, losing 14-3.

Goals for Taber came from Lincoln Wiebe, Nathan Gensorek and Delphin Deboer.

Deboer also found the scoresheet with an assist while Burke Hyland and Ryder Nielsen each had an assist.

Ashton Jensen was busy in the blue paint as he faced 57 shots.

U15

The Taber U15s travelled to Oyen this past weekend where they were greeted by a tough Oyen team who rolled in a 12-1 win.

Taber’s lone goal came from the stick of Kellen Lauwen which was assisted by Ryan Gray.

Cason Van Hal faced plenty of pucks as he faced 46 shots in the game.

U18
The Tier 4 Taber team had a lone home game on their schedule this past weekend where they faced off against Kainai.

The Taber team was more than ready as they easily cruised to a 9-2 win.

The entire team was able to chip in as the scoresheet was filled.

Brayden Kaye had one goal, two assists, Evan Frisen scored one goal, Talen Damberger had a single goal, Chase Lippa found the twine twice, Brylin Brown had a goal and an assist, Cooper Ross chipped in two goals, one assist, Kyler Marchuk had one goal, one assist, Kyler James had one assist, Evan Rabusic had three assists, Logan Kromm had two assists and Jared Huvenaars and Theo Loewen each had one assist.
Axel Neustater faced 23 shots in the win.
