“The last two competitions were exciting for our Level 1 athletes as it was there first time taking part in a competition,” said Taber Gymnastics Club coach April Klassen. Our club was excited to welcome some more Junior Olympic athletes into our program this January and we are expecting some more to try it in our seven-week spring session starting after Easter break.”
The club will compete in one more competition in Kimberley June 1-2 and then hope to have a year-end show the week after that and invite the community to attend.
“For now, all athletes are able to take advantage of our competition break and focus on new skills which makes our gym an exciting and fun place to be.”
