The winning streak continues for the Taber Oil Kings Novice CAHL hockey team.

On Saturday, the team hosted Duchess Storm, beating them 13-2.

Lincoln Wiebe had a five-point game, with four goals and one assist. Dane DeGraw scored two goals and had three assists. Ethan Volk and Delphin DeBoer each had two goals and two assists, while Julian Woordman had one goal and one assist. Nate Kramer and Mikaelah Clingman each had a goal, while Jenner Workman had two assists.

On Sunday, the team hosted Redcliff Grizzlies, and won 19-1.

Wiebe and Volk each had five goals and three assists. DeGraw had three goals and three assists; while DeBoer had a hat trick and an assist. Workman scored a goal and had three assists. Madix Miller and Julian Woordman each scored a single.

Kellon Schalk, Madix Miller, Nathan Gensorek, Nate Kramer and Mikaelah Clingman helped anchor the blueline for the Oil Kings.

ATOM: Taber atom Oil Kings skated to a 12-5 victory over Redcliff Grizzlies on Saturday at home.
Chase Stronge had five goals in the win and Konnor Wiebe had a hat trick. Nixen Miller had two goals and Ayden Umbach and Ryler Kiss had singles.

MIDGET: Taber midget Oil Kings earned wins against Raymond and Picture Butte over the weekend.
The Oil Kings vanquished Raymond on the road on Friday 5-2.

Peyton Poncelet and Byron Kress each tallied twice and Dawson Hendricks had a single. Blake Van Beers earned the win in net.

Saturday’s slate was an 11-8 Oil Kings win at the Taber Arena over Picture Butte.

Kress and Michael Stronge each had hat tricks. Cole McLelland and Hendricks each had two goals, and Tams had a single.
