Bantam Golden Suns ran over by Bisons

Taber bantam “AA” Golden Suns (4-25-1) dropped a 4-1 decision to Foothills Bisons (21-7-3) at the Taber Arena on Friday night in South Central Alberta Hockey League competition.

John VandenElzen scored the lone Suns tally.

Ty Young was under siege for the Golden Suns, facing 50 shots on goal in the loss in net.

Taber bantam “AA” Golden Suns travel to Lethbridge to battle the Hurricanes on Friday night.

The team then returns home on Saturday to host the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Taber Arena at 3 p.m.

PEEWEE: Taber peewee “AA” Golden Suns host Foothills Bisons on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Taber Arena.

The team also hosts Medicine Hat hounds on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Taber Arena.

MIDGET: Taber midget “AA” Golden Suns are on the road this weekend with games against Wheatland Chiefs and Medicine Hat on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
