Taber midget ‘A’ Oil Kings made it to the semifinal of its hockey league championships by edging Fort Macleod 5-4 in the third and deciding game.

The scoring was spread out with Spencer Phillips, Matthew Kerkhoff, Ryan Hubble, Dallas Bodnar and Dylan Jones tallying for the Oil Kings. Drawing assists were Kadin Reynolds, Clay Leismeister, Gavin Hoskins and Logan Wiebe.

The Oil Kings move on to Picture Butte to battle in the league semifinals. Game 1 is in Picture Butte on Saturday, with Game 2 back in Taber at the Taber Arena on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
