Taber atom ‘A’ Oil Kings hockey team earned the upper hand in the second round of its playoffs over the weekend.
The team beat Airdrie 9-5 in Game One of the second round of the playoffs.
Scoring for Taber was Connor Eldridge with four goals and Kade Duell had two goals and two assists. Heath Hansen notched two goals to go with an assist. Carter Jensen had one goal and an assist. Walker Skiba also had an assist.
Kahil Wright earned the win in net.
Game 2 is set for Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Taber Arena.
