Taber novice 2 Oil Kings had a busy weekend of hockey play which included a 19-5 win over Irvine Bulldogs as part of a three-win weekend.

Lincoln Weiss and Samuel Tolsma each had four goals. Tage Jensen and Konnor Wiebe had hat tricks. Langdyn Cummins had two goals. Tyson Church, Branson DeVlieger and Ryland Pidborochynski each had singles.

The team also upended Picture Butte 17-5.

Avery Remfert, Cummins and Tolsma each had four goals. Jensen had the hat trick and Weiss had two goals.

Oil Kings skated to a 9-4 victory over Raymond.

Jensen had four goals and Tolsma tallied twice. Weiss, Wyler Krahn, and Cummins had singles.

ATOM: Atom ‘B’ Oil Kings doubled up Crowsnest Pass 6-3 on Saturday on the road in minor hockey competition.

Evan Rabusic potted the hat trick and Carson Love, Evan Friesen and Vance Kramer scored singles. Drawing assists were Jayden Holland and Tristen Egeland-Cusker.

INITIATION: Taber initiation 2 Oil Kings earned a big 20-2 win over Bow Island in Taber on Saturday.

Dane Degraw, Madix Miller, Ethan Volk, and Lincoln Wiebe all had hat tricks. Brodyn Sutka, James Ruggles, and Nixen Miller each had two goals apiece. Emmett Ruggles and Ella Howg each had singles.
