Taber atom ‘A’ Oil Kings skated to an 11-9 victory over Coaldale on Saturday in minor hockey play.

Kade Duell led the charge with four goals and two assists. Connor Eldridge recorded the hat trick to go with two assists.

Heath Hansen had two goals and three assists. Walker Skiba and Matthew Gensorek both had a goal and an assist. Callie McCulloch and Matteo Blasseti each had assists.

Taber atom ‘B’ Oil Kings dropped a 7-5 decision to Cardston at the Taber Arena on Saturday.
Ashton Lukacs notched two goals and Evan Rabusic, Carson Love and Jayden Holland each had singles. Vance Kramer recorded two assists and Hayden Span and Evan Friesen both had single assists.

MIDGET: Taber midget Oil Kings skated to a 3-3 draw against Bow Island/Foremost at the Taber Arena on Saturday night.

Brady Pavka, Darian Simmons and Carter Clarke scored for the Oil Kings. Clay Leismeister and Mitchell Young both drew two assists. Dylan Jones and Brady Garner had single assists.

NOVICE: Both novice hockey teams squared off against each other with novice 2 Oil Kings earning a 13-9 win over novice 1 Oil Kings.

Nathan Planger and Chase Stronge both had four goals apiece. Kayden Kress tallied twice and Max Anderson, Damian Beswick and Andrew Appleton each had singles. Evan Untereiner had two assists and Tanner Fletcher, Roman Capner, Tate Nakashima, Ayden Umbach, Stronge and Beswick had single assists.

Replying for novice 1 Oil Kings were Samuel Tolsma with four goals and Lincoln Wiess and Tage Jensen each with two goals apiece. Konnor Wiebe had a single.

Novice 1 Oil Kings also played Raymond and skated to a 7-7 tie.

Tolsma had the hat trick and Ryland Pidborochynski, Avery Remfert, Weiss and Jensen had singles. Tolsma drew two assists and Jensen had one.

INITIATION: Taber initiation 1 Oil Kings tied Raymond 12-12 on Saturday.

Heston Hansen, Cruz Duell and Nathan Gensorek all had hat tricks. Julian Woordman, Raiden Koizumi and Eastynn Pidborochynski all had singles.

Taber initiation 2 Oil Kings dropped a 13-5 game to Picture Butte.

Nixen Miller had the hat trick and Lincoln Wiebe scored twice.
