Taber’s stork is late in early 2023, and the Times is still on the hunt for that first bundle of joy that arrived at the Taber Hospital.
Citing current capacity challenges at healthcare facilities brought on by a surge in respiratory illnesses, Alberta Health Services recently announced it would not be identifying or announcing this year’s New Year’s babies. AHS hopes to resume the practice in 2024.
Notwithstanding, the Times is still invested in tracking down the first baby born in Taber at the Taber Hospital in 2023.
If you think your new arrival is the top candidate, please contact us at editor@tabertimes.com or 403-223-2266 during regular business hours.
Once we can confirm the details, your baby qualifies for some cool prizes including free coffee for a month, a handmade blanket, various gift cards from local businesses, a free will, and of course a framed front-page story from the Taber Times.
