If all goes well, St. Patrick’s School will see Phase 1 of their natural playground completed by the summer — but they need some help to get there. The group has been planning the new playground for some time, and with funding and planning reaching the end for Phase 1, they are now in search of equipment and manual labour to get them past the first finish line.
“As of now, we have a lot of the supplies for our Phase 1 for the natural playground, but we’re really in need of a contractor and some helping hands to get it actually started. We would like to reach out to the Taber community and ask if there is anyone willing to help get this project started — labour-wise or contract-wise. We’re super excited — it’s a big project for our entire community. We look at Coaldale and they have a natural playground and just how much that has added to the community. We’re excited to have that come here,” explained Mary Tilleman, associate principal at St. Pat’s.
