M.D. commits to two more Public Works purchases

The Municipal District of Taber Public Works department has brought forward two more purchases for council decision.
During the M.D.’s regular council meeting held on Jan. 24, Public Works had two requests for decision — a purchase of a gravel trailer and an asphalt patcher.
In terms of the gravel trailer, administration’s report explained a request for quotes was sent out in January to Fort Garry Industries and Southland International, both in Lethbridge for quotes on a Midland gravel trailer and a Doepker trailer, respectively. The M.D. had $80,000 budgeted and administration explained both quotes were competitive.
