51 St & 49 Ave

A male was charged with mischief after witnesses observed him keying a car. A bail hearing was held and the male was released on a recognizance.

62 St & 46 Ave

Restaurant staff contacted police after a patron neglected to pay their bill. This matter is still under investigation.

54 Ave & 50 St

A complaint of mischief to a vehicle was received and continues to be investigated.

54 St & 54 Ave

A local woman reported her tires had been slashed. This matter is still under investigation.

51 St & 58 Ave

Police responded to a complaint of a female believed to be under the influence of drugs who had broken into a camper and refused to come out. The female was removed from the camper and transported to the Taber Police Station. She was subsequently charged with mischief and resisting arrest.

52 St & 50 Ave

A woman was removed from a residence after the property rep complained that she was causing a disturbance. The female was found to be in breach of conditions including not consuming alcohol, and was transported to the Taber Police Station.

54 Ave & 45 St

Police received the first of several vehicle entry complaints for the week. This matter is under investigation.

54 Ave & 46 St

A second complaint of vehicle entry, resulting in the theft of three pairs of sunglasses and $60 in change.

54 Ave & 50 St

A local man reported someone smashed the window out of his vehicle, stole his wallet and had racked up significant charges on his credit card. Police continue to investigate.

54 St & 41 Ave

Police responded to a complaint of an unwanted male causing a disturbance. The male fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended. He then gave a false date of birth and was charged with obstruction and public intoxication.

48 St & 52 Ave

A male was charged with impaired driving after police responded to a call of a motor vehicle collision and the driver showed signs of impairment. The male driver was charged accordingly and released for court in May.

Another complaint of vehicle entry, this one resulting in the loss of loose change.

45 St & 51 Ave

While investigating a complaint of suspicious activity, police recovered a backpack. The backpack was discovered to have been stolen out of a vehicle, along with cigarettes and a laptop.

46 St & 52 Ave

Employees of a dealership in town reports parts valued at $2,000 stolen from a vehicle.

58 Ave & 54 St

Report of a laptop stolen out of a vehicle.

55 St & 46 Ave

A woman was found to be in possession of methamphetamine after a complaint was made regarding her strange behavior. The female was also charged with resisting arrest and mischief.
