Car burglar nabbed

On December 23, 2015, at 12:30 a.m., members of the Taber Police Service observed a male rummaging through a parked vehicle.

As the male was approached, he fled the scene and a foot pursuit ensued. The male was apprehended a short time later, and found to be in possession of stolen property.

As a result of the investigation, a total of five vehicles were found to have been entered. A 17 year old Taber youth has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, and two counts of mischief and obstruction.

He is scheduled to appear in Taber Provincial Youth Court on Jan. 22, 2016.
