Aug 28 – The Cornfest 5km/10km Fun Run will proceed as scheduled Saturday, August 29. Participants may still register for the event at the Taber Aquafun Centre starting at 7:00 a.m. This event will occur regardless of the air quality issues we are currently experiencing. The choice whether to participate will be up to each individual registrant.

Fun Run participants who are choosing to run should be aware of the following:

Stay hydrated; and

Take frequent breaks if necessary.

If you have any underlying health issues and choose to participate in the run, it is recommended that you consider walking instead of running. If you require an inhaler, please bring it along on the run.

Due to traffic congestion around the festival, the Town of Taber is urging attendees to walk to the event if possible.
