Trump is not to blame

Over the last nine years, the Liberals have worked hard to destroy Canada with numerous ethics scandals (We Charity, Aga Khan, Jody Wilson-Raybold, SNC Lavelin, Chinese election interference); six hundred plus billion dollars in unapproved or cancelled energy projects; the “Green Slush Fund” (allocated for alternative energy with no results or accountability for funds spent); bringing in and supporting untold illegal immigrants beyond Canada’s capability to provide for them with resulting housing and food shortages; continuing the unequal and unfair equalization program (are all Quebec’s resources/revenues included in determining their have-not status?) in which Alberta subsidizes most of the other provinces with revenue from our oil and gas industries; and cancelling our history (and statues). For starters! 

However, the most egregious disservice to Canadians is the Liberals’ tri pling of our national debt to over $1.2 trillion dollars, $25,000 for every man woman and child in Canada. (To understand the enormity of this number, if a dollar was paid toward the debt every second, it would take over 30,000 years to pay it back – and of course we are not paying anything back). 

And Trudeau is continually adding to the debt, most recently promising Ukraine five billion dollars, which we do not have, while Parliament is prorogued. This money must be borrowed.

The Liberals reduced sentences for criminals, allowing violent offenders out on bail. They have decriminalized drugs with the result that Canada has a huge problem with drugs, mental health, and the resulting homelessness and tent cities. Pro-Hamas protests disrupt the streets and few get arrested. Bullets are shot at Jewish schools and synagogues yet protesters are given free rein to continue. 

Justin Trudeau, in stating that “Canada is a post-national state,” to his now “rah-rah, Canada,” is hypocritical (at best) and self-serving. The Liberals are trying to stop Canadians from looking at their abysmal record in order to make Donald Trump the “bad guy” and common enemy. 

Tariffs from Canada will result in job layoffs and hardship for many people. The Liberals would like to bring in Universal Basic Income (UBI). Is this how they will accomplish it? All the Liberals in government have supported Justin Trudeau and his actions for the last nine years. Mark Carney has been advising Justin since 2020, including through the pandemic and freezing bank accounts. Do you think he will be any different? 

Whatever you think about Trump, he is not the enemy. Liberal policies are.

   How stupid do you think us Alberta conservatives are when we know how dangerous these Reformers are and the fact that they are fully connected to these American Republicans and their Rightwing Extremist pals?
   My American Relatives know that Trump is a lunatic and a serious problem to everyone. Their stock market has crashed and it has in Canada also.
   The huge debt you whine about is real and it’s the result of the COVID pandemic if you had done any world travelling like many of us have and talked to the people. It’s not a Trudeau created problem like these Reformers want you to believe. It’s a world wide problem.
   Lawyers in our circle of friends consider Trudeau to be a hero to Albertans as these articles point out:
   “Alberta received more funds from feds than it has from revenues in decades “
   “Alberta received more COVID funds per capita than the people in any other province”.
   Not only did he save our young people during the COVID Pandemic he saved our oil industry by buying us a pipeline and we know these Reformers never would have. We estimate that they have screwed Albertans out of $1.2 trillion by slashing Lougheed’s oil royalties and corporate taxes, creating a $85 billion debt and dumped a $260 billion oil well cleanup mess on the backs of our children and grandchildren that I was involved with for 8 years when Lougheed and Getty made certain the oil industry paid for the cleanup.
   The carbon tax was created by conservatives to help our oil executives show the world they do care about what Global Warmings doing to us and want to try to do something about it. They know it is the cheapest and most effective way to target it and 26 other countries agree and have adopted. It isn’t going to financially destroy anyone like these Reformers claim it will. Otherwise Sweden would be in trouble where it’s been in place since 1991 and they fully support it.
