Reader voices fiscal concerns with town

Is Taber going bankrupt? I have been reading some very disturbing articles in the newspaper lately.

1) Taber won’t join Grassy Lake and Bow Island in garbage initiative.

2) Taber won’t do census because of fears that numbers may be down.

3) Taber won’t give to charity that we have supported in the past.

All of these articles scare me into thinking that perhaps I supported the wrong candidates in the last election. Or are these now elected persons just trying to save money so that they can give themselves a bigger raise?
