Response to last week’s editorial
Dear Editor:
Yes, addictions are a terrible scourge to society — breaking many good people and so, so difficult to overcome. As a society, we need to be thankful for all of the awesome rehabilitation organizations and need to encourage all governments for more support for them. The writer of (the editorial) says “some safe injection sites also offer rehab programs for individuals who are looking to kick the habit.” My question is, is there anything society can do for those who are not even willing to try to change? Yet, as a caring society, we need to encourage each other. There are many challenges and valleys in our lives, let us prayerfully support each other to overcome.
