To the Editor, re: Taber Times June 26. “Opinion, Politicians need to focus on the facts”.
Opinion makes the following statements. First, about Trump’s bullying approach and misleading information, I believe that we in Canada have enough weeds in our own garden, and don’t need to look into our neighbour’s.
Next, the Alberta Minister of Education statement “the strongest GSA protections in Canada” that’s fiction, Opinion says.
I say what a breath of fresh air, a way to get parents involved in the lives of their children’s issues. The communist system tried to be the parent of the Nation’s children, failed and will continue to fail.
Then Opinion makes the statement “Premier Kenney beating the equalization drum and it only adds 11 per cent to Quebec’s income,” I say that next year Quebec will receive $13 billion from Canada’s equalization program, the majority coming from Alberta, that is not peanuts.
So I am not sure what facts or fiction Opinion is really driving at.
