Precious Moms and Dads:
Yes and especially Moms, and their special career of motherhood.
I fondly remember my Mom, even through the most difficult times, always loving, caring and protecting her children.
And Dad was always our breadwinner, and the supporter for Mom raising the children. In raising our own family, I appreciate my wife so much in her role of Mom, and now her role as grand and great grandmother.
Now I am a senior and feel so blessed to live in southern Alberta to see all the Moms and Dads around us as parents raising their children.
There are all the good sport facilities parents are taking their kids to and coaching them in all kinds of sports.
Also all our churches where we and our families are taught the love of God and our neighbours.
But now in this generation we have a different reality, a reality of needs and wants that outpace the income from one parent, so now in most cases it takes the income from both parents to make ends meet.
Also in today’s culture our government in its wisdom, or their folly, says that it is OK, and legal to use the addicting drug marijuana for recreational use in order to make one feel good.
But we all know that this feel good does not last. So now I pray to God that He may give Moms and Dads wisdom and discipline to know what is good for them and their children. So please tip your hats to all our Moms and Dads and their family circles.
