The residents of Taber and myself welcome new small business to our town.
They have taken the opportunity to reside and fill a vacant building and spend money to renovate to suit their business, hire local contractors and buy building materials locally.
So why hasn’t our town mayor or members of town council taken the time or initiative to introduce themselves and welcome the owners of new small business?
A simple hello and wishing the best in their business goes a long way.
Why hasn’t The Taber Times taken the time to interview and write a small feature story on the owners (who they are, why they picked Taber and where did they come from, etc.).
I’m sure R.J. Mini Mart, A-1 Pizza, Pizza Hut, etc., would appreciate the visit.
