Government needing to get house in order

Posted on April 29, 2015 by Taber Times

Just a thank-you note for the support and care that we see in our community of Taber, in particular senior care.

The bible says ‘pure religion is this, to visit the fatherless and the window in their affliction.’

I certainly see that happen in Taber, in their hospital and senior homes. also all the moms and dads raising their precious children.

It is 66 years ago that Canada adopted the Visser family, we have been blessed with freedom and opportunity to make a life, and to be involved in the social fabric of life in Taber and district.
Sadly, in the last several years the provincial government has mismanaged our great province.

But we hope with the pressure from the electorate they will get their house in order again.

My wife Lena and I are blessed with five children, and their offspring, and we are able to share their joys and challenges of life. Now in our retirement, we also enjoy the interaction with grand and great grandchildren, and with people in hospital and senior homes. Yes, we as Taberites are very blessed with the facilities and staff we have. Also, the communities little ones are so precious.

Jesus says ‘Let them come to me’ and I pray that our country would also proclaim a law as it is now proclaimed in several U.S.A. States called the ‘Unborn Child Dismemberment Law.’ Yes, I want to express my appreciation for all the good things in our country, but also must express my concerns for Canada’s non-law on the rights of the unborn, and Alberta’s economic management.
