W.R. Myers JV Girls Volleyball team league champs

The Deep South Volleyball Conference JV Championship was played at Prairie Winds Secondary in Coaldale Nov. 1-2. 

The W.R. Myers JV Girls Volleyball team played Taber Christian High School in the finals and won in two straight sets (25-11, 25-18).

This season was a great year. With Barnwell coming into W.R. Myers for Grade 10, the team gelled very well. I knew we were going to have a great year right from the beginning and we kept that vibe going throughout the season. We were undefeated in league and only lost one set at the league championship in Coaldale. 

I’m so proud of my team for how committed they were and their willingness to learn and grow as a unit. I can’t wait to see them in senior varsity!  I’m really thankful for my players, an amazing parent group and Coach Rob and Coach Randy who helped all season. We couldn’t have done it without everyone!
