Town of Taber election candidates list

As the community gets closer to Nomination Day on September 22, one of the most common questions is: “Who is running?”

The candidate list is always posted at http://www.taber.ca/election and is updated each time someone files their papers.

The list becomes official on Sept. 23 at noon, 24 hours after Nomination Day.

MD of Taber Voting 101: How to get ready for the 2025 Municipal Election 

—Register Online by September 15. Go to voterlink.ab.ca to register or check your status. If you’ve moved, changed your name, or never registered before—you’ll need to register (or re-register). Future voters aged 16–17 can pre-register and will be added automatically at 18.

—Bring the Right ID

An Alberta Driver’s Licence or ID card works if it has your full name + current physical address. If it only shows a mailing address, you’ll need a second piece of ID with your physical address (like your 911 blue sign or legal land description). —Missed the Deadline? Don’t Worry

You can still register at your voting station on Election Day, October 20. Election officials will help you fill out a registration form—then you can vote right away. Mark your calendar: October 20.
