M.D. of Taber’s online business directory showcases products and services

The M.D. of Taber Administration describes the M.D. of Taber Online Business Directory as a ‘comprehensive resource showcasing businesses, products, services, and expertise within the rural areas of the district.’

The Business Directory, according to the M.D. of Taber Administration, serves as a tool for residents, visitors, and industry stakeholders to discover the vibrant business community within the region and to encourage support for local enterprises and it was developed as part of the M.D. of Taber’s ongoing commitment to fostering economic growth and supporting local businesses.

The directory, the M.D. of Taber Administration states, was created by the M.D. of Taber in collaboration with the Alberta Municipal Data Sharing Partnership (AMDSP), a network that extends the directory’s reach through public-facing mapping applications and vital emergency services, and feedback from residents and business owners suggests it is an ‘effective and appreciated resource.’

Hosted on the M.D. of Taber website, the M.D. of Taber Business Directory can be accessed at https://www.mdtaber.ab.ca/p/business-directoryand is free of charge to use and that it is a ‘valuable tool for residents seeking products or services locally, visitors planning their time in the region, and businesses looking to network or collaborate with others in the area’ readily available online via the M.D. of Taber website, ensuring accessibility from any device with internet connectivity.

The M.D. of Taber Administration says that businesses who want to register to be included can do so at no cost and the directory is maintained by the M.D. of Taber, ensuring that listings remain current and accurate, with funding for the directory coming from the M.D.’s operating budget, reflecting its commitment to economic development and community support.
