From now to December 3, Alberta’s dairy farmers will match all donations to Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000, to support critical healthcare for children across the province.
Stuart Boeve, chair of the Alberta Milk board says that Alberta Milk is proud that they are working on this Holiday Match Campaign in partnership with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation (ACHF) for the second year in a row and that all money raised by the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation will be re-invested in child health needs in the hospital and across the region.
“The Holiday Match Campaign aims to bring the spirit of the holiday season to life through generosity and community care,” said Boeve. “For Alberta’s dairy farmers, the holidays are a time to reflect on what truly matters—helping children and families in need. This campaign serves as a meaningful way to give back during a season of giving, ensuring that children across the province receive the care they need to get better and thrive. Alberta’s dairy farmers are asking families who have the capacity, to give generously and ensure children and families have access to the care they need.”
Through the generosity of our community, Boeve says, funding can be provided for family-centred child health programs, specialized life-saving equipment and advanced pediatric research and education at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
“We are so grateful for the generosity and the support of our community, including Alberta Milk,” said Liz Ballendine, Vice President of Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. “This campaign exemplifies the power of community to transform lives and bring hope to children and families when they need it most. Thank you to Alberta Milk and Alberta’s dairy farmers for making this holiday season brighter for so many.”

“As Alberta dairy farmers, we take great pride in giving back to our communities,” said Boeve. “The partnership with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation allows us to have a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families across the province. By matching donations, we hope to inspire others to join us in spreading hope and healing during this special season. Together, we can ensure children have the care they need when it matters most. We know that this can be a challenging time for many families, but for those who have the means – we encourage you to support a great cause that supports the care/treatment of some of Alberta’s most vulnerable kids.”
