Taber Players will be performing the award-winning comedy/farce show ‘Drinking Habits’ on October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26 in the upstairs area at the Taber Legion Hall.
‘Drinking Habits’ is a comedy play that revolves around secrets, mistaken identities, and romance,” said Matt Peleskey, treasurer for Taber Players. “Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but their secret seems on the verge of being uncovered. As the plot unravels, the audience is treated to a rich tapestry of humor, suspense, and drama.”
Peleskey says that the shows from the Oct. 17 – 25 will begin at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the afternoon matinee on the 26th will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 2 p.m. The show, Peleskey says, will last approximately two hours and people will be able to get drinks and snacks during intermission.
“Come for a good time, a laugh or two and maybe a glass of wine,” said Peleskey.
