Co-op says 398 cardlock locations across Western Canada are back online following a cybersecurity incident on June 27 which caused the co-operative to shut down its systems.
As a precaution Co-op brought in third-party experts to investigate the cybersecurity incident.
On July 4, a week after Co-op closed almost 400 cardlock locations, it announced over social media crews have been working around the clock to recover their networks and get service stations online again.
“We want to thank Co-op cardlock customer for their patience and understanding throughout this process,” reads a post of Facebook. “We again want to thank our Co-op members, customers and the public for your patience and understanding.”
