Even with the most tickets being released for the Coors Banquet One Horse Town event in the history of its contest, many Taberites were left on the outside looking in for a free ticket to the event.
As Taberites eagerly signed into their computers for a try at one of the 3,000 free tickets released, it took a mere 12 minutes for all the tickets to be gobbled up for the event which goes this Saturday at Confederation Park.
Fear not, those who thought they had lost out on a chance to listen to Canadian country music stars Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks and Kira Isabella, The Taber Times has a chance for you to win.
Molson Coors has released four tickets to The Times to give to their readers in a community contest.
“One trip onto social media and you will see a thirst for tickets to the Coors Banquet One Horse Town Concert this week in Taber has not been quenched, given how many people were disappointed they were not able to acquire tickets. The Taber Times has been given a chance to say thank you to our readers — either old or new — by offering up a couple of sets of tickets to the show,” said Greg Price, editor of The Taber Times.
Winners will be notified shortly after the draw and tickets must be picked up by 3:30 p.m. Friday at The Times’ office (4822 53rd Street).
