Recently I read in the Lethbridge Herald that Premier Danielle Smith was looking for feedback on nuclear power energy in the province of Alberta. I have done some research at the Pickering Nuclear Power Station in Pickering, Ont. for advantages and disadvantages.
The advantages and disadvantages are for all nuclear plant workers’ fight for radiation cleanup compensation. Plant ready nuclear power plant warnings / radiological hazards occurred in Canada 1/12/2020.
Information on the 1983 Pickering nuclear accident Canada indicated that nuclear plant safety systems part 2 was controlling the reactor. Have nuclear power plants work/protect #Science, #Science project, davhmo #nuclear energy. Nuclear power plants occasionally have leaks and explosions. There are dangers of an example of 88,000 tons of radioactive waste – and nowhere to put it.
Regarding the nuclear power plant – understating how it works. The circuit is to install the reactor, water, steam generator, turbine, alternator, and electricity is produced. This process is much cleaner than the coal-fired boilers that pollute our planet.
The history of nuclear energy derived from WWII when Canada mined uranium at Port Radium, NWT and developed the atomic bomb. The mine was later moved to Uranium City, Sask. as a Crown Corporation – Eldorado Nuclear Ltd. I was employed at this mine from 1977-82 as power engineer 2nd class for the operation of the powerhouse.
