Council meetings show care put into town

Dear Editor,

I attended a regular town council meeting last week and was very impressed with many things.

Respect shown by the councillors one to another and to the staff was evident throughout the entire meeting and vice versa. It was also apparent that every staff member was well prepared for their time together. They obviously are well qualified to serve council and carry out their separate duties.

Everyone’s respect for the citizens of our town — their concerns and needs were addressed with a keen attitude of wishing to help.

Reports by each council member re: their individual assignments revealed a conscientious attention towards the various committees for which they are responsible to assist. All in all, good feelings among councillors and staff reigned during all the business procedures discussed and dealt with.

My thanks to all of them for the outstanding way in which they govern our beloved town. They set a high standard for all of us to follow.

Ray Sheen,

Taber
