COVID-19: A Poem

Do you have the virus, are you feeling ill.

Do we stick you with a needle, or make you take a pill?

Do you find it hard to breathe, are you feeling warm?

If you’ve any symptoms, this is not the norm.

You must stay home and isolate, don’t go anywhere.

After 14 days or so, you may lose some hair.

You could completely lose your marbles, and lose all track of time.

You might start watching soap operas, and take to drinking wine.

You might lose your job, your house, your car, your boat, and more,

Government’s got you covered, no worries, that’s for sure.

They say they will take care of you, like a willow, you must bend,

And when this is all over, you’ll get it in the end.
