I recently had to spend over a week in the Taber Hospital, after being transferred from the spinal ward in Calgary Foothills Hospital. That has to be the most enjoyable hospital I could have ever stayed in. The nurses were such a team.
Their duties as well as their nurturing attitudes toward their patients. And so uplifting despite the pandemic going on around them.
And, in the evening when the patients were all settled, they continued to uplift each other.
One of their most enjoyable activities in the evenings were fun aerobics when you would have much laughter and hoisting, so much so I had to wheel down to see what was so enjoyable.
Despite the bothersome masks, they huffed and laughed together! I believe this is the happiest hospital on earth! I’d love an article on them.
