Frustration mounting in trying to help strays

I contacted the town in regards to a stray cat in the yard.

The young lady at the town desk said “well, if you can catch it take it for a ride and drop it off somewhere.”

I then took the cat to the vet and was threatened with animal abandonment from the bylaw officer.

I am giving up on helping strays in our town and I promise to drop them off at the vet.
