Lethbridge & District Exhibition and Rotary Club of Lethbridge East have announced the third-year details for the Agricultural Scholarship Award for $10,000 for at least one Lethbridge and District’s top undergraduate agricultural student.
The Agricultural Scholarship Award is to further recognize the importance of agriculture in our community by supporting local students in their pursuit of an agricultural career.
Agriculture and agribusiness in southern Alberta are multibillion-dollar industries and the reason our community has weathered the economic impact of COVID-19 more successfully than other areas in Alberta.
By continuing to support this Agriculture Scholarship you can help ensure the future success of the agriculture industry in southern Alberta.
Thanks to the successful fund-raising events in the past two years and the generosity of our sponsors we will award at least one $10,000 scholarship in 2021.
Due to the uncertainties caused by COVID-19, the number of scholarships awarded will be dependent on the success of our fundraising activities over the next month or so.
