Tip of the hat to our firefighters
Posted on September 27, 2017 by Taber TimesI believe we all feel gratitude for the many blessings we receive. We may not express our gratitude to others as much as we should however.
I have good friends that have a family cabin in Waterton that is on the mountain side of the town-site. The cabin is nearly 100 years old.
The devastating fire came within a few yards of the doorstep of this old cabin.
When I asked if the cabin had survived the owners said “It was saved by the firefighters from Taber!”
On behalf of all of the residents of Waterton, I would like to thank the volunteer firefighters from all over southern Alberta that worked so hard and displayed amazing bravery to protect the townsite.
Good job.
