Lantic Taber team donates $15,000 to strengthen local community

Demonstrating Lantic’s commitment to giving back, the Taber team has donated $15,000 to several local organizations that make a difference in people’s lives. 

These donations reflect Lantic’s long-standing belief that strong communities are built through care, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

The contributions were distributed among:

• Taber Food Bank Society

• Taber & District Housing Foundation

• Taber Community Action & Prevention Society

• Taber Special Needs

“At Lantic, we believe that supporting our community goes beyond business—it’s part of who we are,” said Barend DuToit, Plant Manager, Taber Refinery. “These organizations play a vital role in helping our neighbours thrive, and we’re proud to stand alongside them.”

Across its Canadian refineries, Lantic Inc. gave back by supporting community programs tackling hunger, advancing health and medical research, promoting education, and building stronger, more inclusive communities.
