The Municipal District of Taber (MD of Taber) is calling on residents with a passion for community service to step forward and make a difference. The district is seeking Members-at-Large to serve on several committees, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the region’s decision-making and development. If you love your community and want to see it thrive, this could be the chance you’ve been waiting for!

The communities within the MD of Taber are built on collaboration, shared knowledge, and the commitment of individuals who care deeply about their hometowns. Members-at-Large work alongside council members and other stakeholders to shape local initiatives and decisions that impact the district. Whether you’re inspired to enhance agricultural programs, explore recreational developments, or contribute to municipal planning, there are multiple opportunities to help guide the MD of Taber toward a brighter future.

The MD of Taber has a variety of positions that seek resident participation. Here’s the list of boards currently looking for Members-at-Large:

• Nuisance and Unsightly Premises Appeal

• Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal

• Regional Assessment Review

• Municipal District of Taber Library

• Municipal District of Taber Airport Commission

These volunteer positions are not just about attending meetings—it’s about leaving a lasting imprint on the community and helping to be a voice for those impacted by its governance.
