Dear Editor:
This dear friend left us at age 69. Forty-six years ago, after a terrible accident, Kerry became a paraplegic for the rest of his life. For many years, we could find Kerry buzzing around on his motorized wheelchair. His father, Kich and especially his mom Mitzi, dedicated her life to helping Kerry.
After he no longer was able to stay in their home, Kerry got a lot of loving care at the Taber Hospital extended care and when Linden View Care facility opened up, Kerry transferred there. That’s where Kerry really bloomed — he became president of the resident council, and organized all kinds of activities and fundraising for additions to Linden View.
And above all, he became an encouragement to visitors, volunteers, residents, and staff. Dear Kerry, we will all miss you very much. Rest in Peace amongst many friends.
Hans Visser,
Taber
