Spray park has issues

I have been wondering how carefully this spray park proposal idea has been explored. It’s a huge investment for a two-month window of use.

Will our facility ‘pool’ suffer with much lower attendance and revenue? Who is responsible for maintenance and staff?

When our own children were young we turned on our sprinklers and had family fun day in our backyard and watered the lawn at the same time. Our former small city had a splash park that now has crumbling cement, broken water fixtures and no aesthetic value.

The town has trouble maintaining our existing parks. Is this what we really need?
