Gilbert top skip at bonspiel

Taber Farmers/Danny Kerkhoff Memorial Bonspiel concluded on Sunday at the Taber Curling Club which saw skip Betty Gilbert take the ‘A’ event with the help of Val Leahy (third), Terry Beers (second) and Beverly Mikalson (lead).

The Kyle Beauchamp rink earned second in the ’A’ event.

Earning ‘B’ event honours was the Travis Nelson rink with skip Kyler Hirch taking second place.

Champions of the ‘C’ event were the Lindsay Nelson rink with skip Mark Saruwartari taking second place.

Skip D.J. Lee earned ‘D’ event honours with his rink.

Skip Ivan Locke took second place in the ‘D’ event.
