Police investigated a report of fuel being siphoned from a vehicle outside a local residence. This matter is still under investigation

A complaint of fraud was received after a local resident was subject to an online communications scam. The file is still under investigation.

58 Ave & 52 St

A report was received of criminal harassment occurring outside a Taber residence. After further investigation, police were able to mediate the situation with no charges being laid.

49 St & 46 Ave

Police were called to a shoplifting complaint at a local business. After further investigation, it was determined that no theft took place.

48 St & 50 Ave

Police investigated a complaint of alleged drug use at a public place, and were able to determine the allegations were false.

A Taber male was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance after police received a call to assist a local organization with an emotionally disturbed client. The drugs were seized and the male was released on a promise to appear for Taber court April 9.

A report was received of a break & enter and mischief at a local residence. The file is still under investigation.

59 Ave & 54 St

A Taber male was arrested after police were called to a complaint of a disturbance at a local residence, as the male was found to have outstanding warrants for failing to comply with a probation order. He was released on a promise to appear for Taber court April 16.

63 Ave & 52 St

A report of a truck theft from a local organization was initiated after the truck was recovered by a neighbouring police agency. The file is still under investigation.

52 St & 44 Ave

A Taber female was arrested and charged with one count of possession of stolen property and one count of fail to comply with release conditions, after police checked on a suspicious vehicle outside a local residence. The female was released on a recognizance for Taber court April 9.

A complaint was received of shoplifting at a local business. The file is still under investigation.

59 Ave & 54 St

Police were called to a report of a physical disturbance at a local residence. After further investigation, no charges were laid and the parties separated willingly for the duration of the night.
